Thirteen Elon students selected for Taglit-Birthright 10-day trip to Israel

Thirteen Elon students have been selected to participate in a free 10-day trip to Israel this summer through Taglit-Birthright Israel.

The thirteen students  were selected by Elon Hillel and Hillel International after completing a lengthy application and interview process.  Ten of the students will travel to Israel with students from other “Hillel Small and Mighty Campuses of Excellence,” including Williams, Middlebury, Colgate, Vassar, Dickinson, and Union:  Ari Lewit,  Emily Parker, Ross Draper, Zachary Jordan, Michelle Wrightman, Rachel Stanley,  Olivia Feldman, Alexandra Coffman, Eva Yaffe, and Ariel Miller  One student, Emma Zoghlin, will be traveling on an American Sign Language bus with students from Gallaudet University.  David Magida and Cassandra Taylor will be going with national and regional groups.

Taglit-Birthright Israel provides the gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. The gift is funded through private philanthropists, the government of Israel, and local Jewish communities around the world.
