Career Services uses Google Maps to show student outcomes

Elon Career Services has started utilizing Google Map system technology to highlight student outcomes and networking opportunities. Maps have been created as part of the ongoing effort to highlight direct measures of student success to the campus community.

Three of the maps highlight:

• Where Elon graduates have been employed (Classes of 2007-2009)
• Where Elon graduates have gone on to graduate or professional school (Classes of 2007-2009)
• Where Elon students have completed internships (Classes of 2007-2009)

A fourth map highlights the 500-plus (and growing) alumni and parent networking contacts available exclusively to students and alumni through the Elon Career Network.

The Elon Career Network map is updated regularly as new alumni and parent profiles are added. Students and alumni can access this network of contacts by activating their accounts in the Elon Job Network. In addition to this network, students and alumni will also be able to view job and internship opportunities.
