Megan Squire, associate professor in the Department of Computing Sciences, traveled to South Bend, Ind., from May 30-June 2 to lead several panels and workshops at the 6th International Conference on Open Source Systems.
In addition to serving as the publicity chair and social networking chair for the conference, Squire also led a session titled “The Present and Future of FLOSS Data Archives” along with Jesus Gonzalez-Barahona of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, and Greg Madey of the University of Notre Dame.
Following this panel, Squire co-presented a session for the FLOSS 2010 Community Report (with Walt Scacchi of University of California, Irvine, Kevin Crowston of Syracuse University, and Greg Madey of University of Notre Dame).
Finally, Squire co-organized the 5th Workshop on Public Data about Software Development with Jesus Gonzalez-Barahona and Daniel Izquierdo Cortazar of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Video streams of the conference are available on the conference web site, the link is on the sidebar of this page.
