Love School of Business faculty present at recent conferences

Kevin O'Mara, a professor of management, and Gary Palin, director of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, presented their paper "A Cross-National Empirical Study Investigating the Role of Purchasing Purpose has on the Country-of-Origin Effect" on May 30 at the ABWIC Conference in Nashville, Tenn.

The paper will be published in the conference proceeding. Kathy Cort from North Carolina A&T is a co-author.

O’Mara also presented his paper “Strategic Innovation: The Foundation of an Organizational Strategy” at the ABWIC Conference. It, too, will be published in the conference proceedings.

O’Mara joined with Matt Valle, a professor of management, to present their paper “The New Reality: Holding On and Letting Go” at the 2nd Annual Symposium on Executive Education in Atlanta on June 3. The paper will be published in the conference proceedings.

In addition to his conference presentations, O’Mara recently received training and became certified to administer the “Change Readiness Gauge” developed by Discovery Learning.
