Ray Angle, the new director of career services at UNC Chapel Hill visited the Elon Career Center on June 21st. Mr. Angle, most recently with the Cal State University system, was hosted by executive director of career services, Tom Vecchione. He also met with a number of other career staff members and toured campus.
The purose of Mr. Angle’s visit was to learn more about Elon Career Services and how the two offices might collaborate on mutally beneficial efforts in the future. This coming fall for instance, Elon is coordinating its annual Graduate & Professional School Fair with both UNC and Duke which allows particpating institutions the opportunity to see more prospective students in a shorter period of time.
