Career Services staff attend NCACE conference in Cary

Career Services staff attended the North Carolina Association of Colleges & Employers (NCACE) conference on May 20-21 in Cary, NC.  NCACE brings together all facets of the business, industrial, governmental, and postsecondary level educational communities operating within the state of North Carolina.  This year’s conference covered topics ranging from social networking to innovative recruiting strategies.

Rhonda Kosusko, Associate Director, & Michelle Jones, Assistant Director for Arts & Sciences, served on the conference committee as Registration Co-Chairs.

Ross Wade, Assistant Director for Communications, co-presented with Gary Alan Miller from UNC-Chapel Hill on The Power of Storytelling; Dr. Tom Vecchione, Executive Director, sat on a panel of career services directors to discuss key issues in the industry.

Pam Brumbaugh, Director of Experiential Education, and Brett Woodard, Director of Employer Relations, also serve on the NCACE Executive Board.
