Thomas Nelson, associate professor in the School of Communications, spent July 12-14, as a visiting lecturer at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Nelson taught a series of classes at BYU focused on broadcast news writing and general media writing. The lecture series was funded as part of a summer professional development grant that also brought Nelson to North Dakota, where he was a visiting television news reporter for the CBS-TV affiliate in Bismarck.
