Elon University and Alamance Citizens for Education will co-sponsor a candidate forum focused on education in Alamance County at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, at Free Macedonia Lutheran Church, 421 W. Front St., Burlington. The forum will be moderated by Peter Felten, assistant provost and director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning. State senate and house, county commission and Alamance Burlington School Board candidates will be invited to take part in the forum.
