David Copeland, A.J. Fletcher Professor in the School of Communications, recently presented a research paper at the annual American Journalism Historians Association Convention in Tucson, Ariz.

Paula Patch, a lecturer in English, delivered a presentation titled “What Do They Know?: (Further) Analysis of Student Essays about Wikipedia” as part of a panel discussion on Teaching English Composition at the 2010 Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association Convention, held Oct. 14-16 in Albuquerque, N.M.

Amy Allocco, an assistant professor in the Department of Religious Studies, was a selected participant for a workshop titled "Transforming Your Dissertation into a Book" at the Annual Conference on South Asia in Madison, Wisc.

That’s the premise of a fictional lawsuit argued Oct. 15-17 in the 4th annual Carolina Classic Mock Trial Invitational at Elon University, which brought to campus some of the biggest names in undergraduate mock trial competition, including Harvard, George Washington University and the University of Virginia.
