Dianne Ford, serials and documents librarian, was part of a Burlington-Alamance Sister Cities delegation that was presented the keys to Burlington's sister city, Soledad de Gráciano Sanchez, Mexico, on Dec. 2.
During an Alternative Spring Break trip in 2011, Elon students led by Mary Leigh Frier and Dianne Ford will tutor English and do community service projects in Soledad with students from the university Technológico Superior.
The trip was documented in the local newspaper. Ford is pictured second from left in the attached image.
