On Monday, October 25, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the Elon Law School Republicans student organization will be sponsoring its third annual Pork & Politics event, which will feature various speakers and a catered BBQ dinner. The cost is $10 per person, which may be paid at the door.
Speakers scheduled to participate so far, include:
John Blust, seeking re-election to North Carolina House District 62;
Jon Hardister, seeking election to North Carolina House District 57;
Theresa Yon, seeking election to North Carolina House District 59.
The organization requests an RSVP as soon as possible, by contacting Ann Revels at aansley@elon.edu. Please include the number of people who will be accompanying you.
The organization also notes that for anyone who is interested in becoming a member of the Elon Law School Republicans, the dues are $5, collected at any of their events throughout the fall semester with a receipt for payment provided.
