Thomas Erdmann's article, "Cynthia Robinson's Journey From Humble Beginnings To Rock Stardom," will appear in the March 2011 issue of the International Trumpet Guild Journal.
The article is about the long-time trumpeter in the rock’s first famous interracial co-ed horn section, Sly And The Family Stone. In the same issue, Erdmann, professor of music, had his review of Wadada Leo Smith’s two-CD set, Spiritual Dimensions, published.
