The Adams spring recital at Elon will be a return engagement by Mayer, whose unique repertoire includes such jazz icons Art Tatum and Fats Waller, as well as music from Mozart to Liszt to Charles Edward Ives. He is currently associate professor of piano at the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver.
