Two Elon Law student organizations, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Federalist Society, will cosponsor a discussion with Katy Parker, ACLU-NC Legal counselor, on Thursday, March 3, at 12 noon in room 205.
Parker will discuss Arizona’s recent SB 1070, which authorizes local Arizona law enforcement agencies to enforce federal immigration laws. The program is open to all students and members of the Elon Law community. Lunch will be provided.
