BJ Fungaroli, a 2004 graduate of Elon's MBA program, was profiled in a Feb. 18 article in the Triangle Business Journal. Fungaroli serves as president and chief executive officer of Morrisville, N.C., based Environmental Holdings Group, which specializes in the rehabilitation and demolition of aging buildings.
EHG, founded in 2001, has completed more than 2,000 projects in North Carolina and throughout the southeast, achieving profitability in all but one year. The article by Richard R. Rogoski focused on Fungaroli’s ambitious expansion efforts despite the struggles many construction companies faced in the aftermath of the Great Recession.
“We said we could be ahead of the game – hire new people, go into new markets, grow the company,” Fungaroli said in the article.
