Alex Ellis ’05 featured in Webseries about her Broadway debut

Alex Ellis, a 2005 graduate of Elon's music theatre program, will be featured in a Webseries called "Diary of a Chorus Girl." The series, which premiered on YouTube's DanceOn channel Wednesday, March 16, will chronicle Ellis' experiences while making her Broadway debut in the ensemble of "Catch Me If You Can."

New episodes will be posted on the DanceOn site each Wednesday through May 18. Click here to read more about the show and view the first episode, in which Ellis introduces herself and offers a backstage look at “Catch Me If You Can.”

Since graduating from Elon, Ellis has kept busy performing in shows nationwide, including the Papermill Playhouse’s production of “Hairspray,” the first national tour of “Legally Blonde,” and most recently the Off-Broadway comedy, “Cirque du Soleil: Banana Shpeel.”

“Catch Me If You Can,” which is slated to open April 10 in the Neil Simon Theatre, marks Ellis’ first appearance on Broadway.
