Letitia Lee '99, an accomplished artist and muralist, appeared in the Sunday, April 24, episode of the hit ABC reality show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Lee designed and painted a mural for one of the bedrooms in the Virginia Beach, Va., home rebuilt during the show.
Lee, the first African-American student to graduate from Elon with an art degree, produces and sells her artwork through her company, LEE MEE Art & Design, based in Hampton, Va. Her work has been exhibited throughout the southeast and several of her pieces hang in Elon’s Lindner Hall and the Multicultural Center in Moseley Center.
