Rissa Trachman, assistant professor in sociology and anthropology, was invited to give a presentation at the first annual Maya at the Lago Conference, held April 14-17, in Davidson, NC.
Her presentation, entitled “Ancient Maya Households, Communities, and Polities: A Multiscale Investigation of Social Organization at Dos Hombres, Northwestern Belize,” was about her ongoing field research in Belize.
