J. Dorson White '73 has been named executive vice president and chief retail banking officer for First Bank in Troy, N.C.
White, who has worked in the banking industry for nearly four decades, previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for East Carolina Bank and recently completed a term as director of the board of directors for the North Carolina Bankers Association.
A native of Swansboro, N.C., White graduated cum laude from Elon and also holds an advanced degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
