Thomas Erdmann, professor of music, was asked to part of the 2012 International Trumpet Guild Recording Project.
The organization releases one CD a year of historically important trumpet music or recordings. The 2012 project features newly discovered and unreleased recordings by trumpet legend Woody Shaw. As part of the project Erdmann was asked to interview longtime trombonist with Shaw, Steve Turre.
