Nannie Graham Keck, Elon's oldest living alumna, died on Thursday, Aug. 11, at her home in Burlington, N.C. She was 103.
While a student at Elon, Keck was a member of Tau Zeta Phi sorority and was featured in a video produced last year for Tau Zeta Phi’s 90th Anniversary reunion (Tau Zeta Phi became Sigma Sigma Sigma in 1970). Upon graduating from Elon in 1928, Keck taught in Alamance County schools for a quarter-century and in 1999 was honored as the county’s Mother of the Year.
