Elon music theatre graduates Daniel Gibson '09 and Christopher Staskel '10 will present new scenes and three songs from Staskel's musical "i.d.," which premiered at Elon in 2010.
Staskel, one of Elon’s inaugural Lumen Prize scholars, developed “i.d.” as his Lumen project. Gibson composed the music for “i.d.,” and Staskel was the lyricist and librettist.
On Nov. 20, Gibson and Staskel were among five composers presenting new works through the New Composer’s Chamber Theatre. Following a 20-minute presentation, the composers received feedback from professional writers.
