Elon University has been accepted for charter membership by Lambda Alpha, the National Anthropology Honor Society.
Assistant Professor Aunchalee Palmquist has agreed to serve as the faculty supervisor for the honor society and will shepherd it through the remaining steps of the membership process.
Kate Macdonald, the Isabella Cannon International Center Lead student, will continue to work with Palmquist on the remaining steps in formalizing the honor society on Elon’s campus as part of her legacy project.
