Kristin Simonetti, assistant director of university communications and editor of The Magazine of Elon, spoke about the magazine's 2011 redesign at the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education's District III conference on Feb. 21.
Simonetti’s presentation, “Rethink and redesign your magazine (on a tiny budget and completely in house),” focused on the process she and Christopher Eyl, associate director of design, followed over the past year while bringing a fresh approach to the university’s flagship alumni publication. The Magazine of Elon was selected to receive a Special Merit Award from CASE District III at the conference awards ceremony.
