Gerald R. Knight, tenor and associate professor of music has been invited to present a joint recital on the International Chamber Music Concert Series in Salzburg Austria; the Salzburg International Christian Church will sponsor the concert.
The recital is scheduled for July of this summer and will feature music by African American composers. Dr. Gregory Thompson, piano, who just recently played a third recital at Carnegie Hall, will accompany Knight and Mr. Weeks, tenor.
Knight will sing compositions by Robert Owens, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, and Harry T. Burleigh.
