Assistant professor of music, Omri Shimron, gave a presentation to the Greensboro Music Teachers Association on Wednesday, April 4, titled: "Music Theory in the Independent Piano Studio."
In his presentation, which took place at Moore Music in Greensboro, Shimron focused on college-bound music students and the ways in which they can prepare for collegiate courses in music theory. The GMTA is a local branch of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).
