More than 60 alumni and current Elon students working internships in Washington, D.C., gathered June 13 for a social to expand professional networks and share information about life in the nation's capital.
The event was hosted by the D.C. Chapter of the Elon Alumni Association.
Steven Mencarini, director of the center for leadership, attended the event at BlackFinn Saloon, offering a familiar face for several current Elon students making Washington their temporary home this summer. Several Elon alumni currently pursuing graduate studies and interning in the city attended the event as well.
