Elon student receives German scholarship for dual-degree experience

Ryan Griggs ’14 has been awarded a Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM by the foundation Baden-Württemberg Stiftung gGmbH.

He will receive a minimum 400.00 euro per month scholarship for a minimum of 4 months and a maximum of 11 months.

The Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM programme is aimed at students and postgraduates of all disciplines registered at state as well as selected non-state higher education institutions and higher education institutions with professional orientation and on-the-job-training (Berufsakademie) in Baden-Württemberg as well as their partner higher education institutions.

Griggs will be studying at the top-ranked European School of Business (ESB) at Reutlingen University in Germany for the next two years as part of Elon’s dual-degree program with ESB. Upon graduation, Griggs will obtain a B.S.B.A. in business administration from Elon and a B.Sc. in international management from ESB.
