Spanish faculty, Dr. Ketevan Kupatadze and Dr. Mayte de Lama, presented at the VI Congreso Internacional organized by the Asociación Hipánica de Humanidades in Madrid, Spain, on June 28-30, 2012.
In her presentation titled “La visión de la literatura como un hogar en Jardines de Kensington de Rodrigo Fresán,” Dr. Kupatadze discussed issues of home and identity in a novel written by Rodrigo Fresán. Dr. de Lama´s presentation, “Comunidades inmigrantes: ignorancia, marginación y acercamiento en el cine español contemporáneo, ” dealt with immigration in contemporary Spanish films.
