Chris was born in Hollywood, Fla., and graduated from Walter Williams High School in Burlington, N.C. in 2010. He had recently started a new job in New York City. Chris was a part of the inaugural class of the Elon Academy in 2007 and was known for his kindness, intelligence, and charisma.

Elon Academy Director Deborah Long paid this tribute to Chris: “Chris enriched the Elon Academy and all who knew him with his intelligence, unique personality, and quick wit. We will miss Chris deeply, but he and his contributions to the Elon Academy as a member of the charter class, and later as a teaching assistant in our philosophy class, will never be forgotten.”
