Omri Shimron in the Department of Music returned to the Chautauqua Institution this summer to rehearse and perform in the annual two-piano, eight-hand concert with colleagues.
On Friday, July 27, he was joined on the bench(es) by Rebecca Penneys (Eastman School of Music), John Milbauer (University of Arizona), and Nikki Melville (Carleton College). This year’s program included arrangements of works by Bach (“Orchestral Suite in D”), Saint Saëns (Danse Macabre), Brahms (Hungarian Dances), Youman (“Tea for Two”), and others.
