Gerald R. Knight, tenor and assistant professor of Music at Elon University, with LaVonte Heard, tenor, sang a joint recital in Salzburg, Austria, on July 20, 2012.
The recital featured the solo vocal works of several American composers. Knight was invited to sing by the Salzburg International Chamber Music Concerts under the auspices of the critically acclaimed singer and 2009 Kennedy Center Honoree, Grace Bumbry.
Gregory Thompson, piano, was the accompanist.
