On Wednesday, October 17, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Room 207, Elon Law’s Criminal Law Society, Innocence Project, and Women's Law Society will welcome Therese Bartholomew to speak about her experiences after her brother’s 2003 murder. In 2010, Bartholomew met her brother’s killer in a South Carolina prison, participating in the first victim offender dialogue involving a violent crime in South Carolina’s adult system. The Elon event will include a screening of The Final Gift, a documentary about Bartholomew’s journey. A reception will follow.
This event is open to Elon students, faculty, staff, alumni and all members of Elon Law’s extended community including preceptors and members of the practicing bar.
