Troy Martin, associate director of Academic Support and Advising, presented at the 57th Annual Conference of the South Atlantic Philosophy of Education Society (SAPES) held at Appalachian State University on October 12-13, 2012.
Martin’s paper was titled “The Necessary Mistakes and Ethical Reductions of Rights-based Social Movements.” Martin’s article, “Toward an Ecological Pragmatism: Shedding the Ideology of Human – Animal Hierarchy” was also published in the 2011 SAPES Yearbook.
