Burlington Maker Faire and Science Expo
Holly Hill Mall, Burlington, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
A community event supporting public understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), the day includes a variety of activities and demonstrations led by Elon students and faculty geared toward children and their families. Most activities will involve firsthand experiences for all participants and should stimulate excitement, wonder and the understanding of basic STEM concepts.
