Sunlight Foundation releases new Open States app

The Sunlight Foundation has released a new app called Open States that will allow users to find their state legislators, review votes and track bills.

The app can be found at http://openstates.org/, and anyone, anywhere in the United States can use it. to gather legislative data from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Information is available in a common format via an API and bulk download.
