Kirsten Doehler publishes article on use of audio to enhance statistical understanding

Assistant Professor of Statistics Kirsten Doehler has published an article in the latest issue of Mathematics, Statistics, and Operations Research Connections on the use of audio explanations in introductory statistics classes.

The article, “Audio Explanations to Enhance Statistical Understanding: A Case Study in Introductory Statistics,” is based on a project supported by the Elon Teaching and Learning Program. Included in the article are study results and challenges, information on how audio can be inserted into PDF documents, and example problems and solutions.
