MissRepresentation.org is a nonprofit agency launched by Newsom to support the mission of her acclaimed documentary. Both challenge stereotypical depictions of women in the media and contemporary culture. The project inspires individuals and communities to challenge the status quo and ultimately transform culture, so everyone, regardless of gender, race, class, age or circumstance can fulfill his or her potential.
