While on sabbatical during Fall 2013, Associate Professor Dave Gammon in the Department of Biology completed a graduate certificate program in ecological economics at the University of Vermont.
Ecological economics is a transdisciplinary field that focuses on the interface of economics, the environment, and society. His program required him to take courses in economics, management, public policy, and agroecology.
