Dance Magazine listed Elon University in its March 2014 edition as one of “three top options” for students to consider when choosing a dance science program.
The article lists the courses required of the major, performance opportunities for students with the Elon Dance Company, and opportunities for outside study, which have included internships with the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries and shadowing graduate students in Elon’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
The article also notes how many BFA dance performance and choreography students choose to double major in dance science.
Elon was listed with Goucher College in Maryland and the University of California, Irvine.
