Amy Overman was invited to give a talk to Ph.D. students and post-docs at Penn State University’s Psychology Department on March 5, 2014.
The talk centered on how to be a successful faculty member at a liberal arts/undergraduate-focused institution and included strategies for beginning and sustaining a research program involving undergraduates, improving teaching, being intentional about service, and balancing work and personal life.
Overman is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology.
