Six alumni were recently recognized as board certified clinical specialists at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting.
Elon physical therapy alumni Dr. Jon Ehrenfriend G’00 PT, OC; Dr. Randy Lazicki G’08 PT, OCS, SCS; Dr. John Pugh G’09 PT, OCS; Dr. Mike Bourssa G’10 PT, OCS, SCS; Dr. Scott Rytter G’11 PT, NCS and Dr. Amber Anderson G’11 PT, WCS were each recognized as board certified clinical specialists at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in Indianapolis, Ind. held Feb.4-8.
Board certified clinical specialists have demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills in physical therapy specialty areas. The American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties offers board certification in eight specialty areas of physical therapy: Cardiovascular and Pulmonary (CCS), Clinical Electrophysiology (ECS), Geriatrics (GCS), Neurology (NCS), Orthopaedics (OCS), Pediatrics (PCS), Sports (SCS), and Women’s Health (WCS).
