While attending the four-day Durham festival, students in Elon University’s documentary production program screened films from around the world, attended filmmaker events and panels, and met award-winning documentarians.

Fifteen board members and guests, including chair Michael Radutzky of “60 Minutes,” were in attendance April 10 to hear about the future of the School of Communications and to share their professional insight with students and faculty.

A documentary that explores contemporary cultural, social and political questions at stake with indigenous populations in the Amazonian Rainforest will be shown at 5:30 p.m. in LaRose Digital Theatre.

The Distinguished Scholar in Residence at Candler School of Theology at Emory University visits campus Monday for a 7 p.m. talk sponsored by Study USA. The program is free and open to the public.

The Lukemia & Lymphoma Society nominated Brendan Westlund '01 for Man of the Year, launching a 10-week fundraising campaign to raise $100,000.
