Elon University Orchestra Concert
McCrary Theatre, 7:30 p.m.
Thomas Erdmann opens his 12th season as orchestra director with vibraphonist Jon Metzger and Elon music graduate and bassist Kevin Pace performing Pace’s composition “As It Should Be” and the jazz standard “I Cover the Waterfront.” Among other pieces will be a “Concertino in G Major” by either Carlo Ricciotti or Giovanni Battista Pergolesi (music historians are unsure of the composer).
