Continuing Professional Education Seminar for CPAs – Nov. 13

Hosted by Elon University’s Department of Accounting

Speakers from the profession, government and academia will provide updates on several issues pertinent to CPAs. Sessions include Federal, state and local tax updates, regulatory and economic updates, communication skills for accountants, ethics and case studies in managerial accounting.

At this conference, participants will:

  • Learn new developments in Federal, state and local tax
  • Acquire tips to improve their communication skills
  • Increase their understanding of North Carolina’s ethics requirements for CPAs
  • Discuss case studies in managerial accounting
  • Gain information that will help them better advise their employers, clients and associates.

Who should attend:

CPAs in business, industry, public accounting, not-for-profits, government and academia

Recommended CPE credit: Up to eight CPE credits in Taxes, Regulatory Ethics, Accounting, Management Advisory Services, Communications and Economics.
