The Triad Business Journal recently featured Elon professor Sean McMahon in a story about his new company, Knowtro, a search engine geared toward academic research.
Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship Sean R. McMahon was featured in the Triad Business Journal on April 4.
The article, “Local entrepreneur looks to create ‘Yelp for knowledge’,” highlights Knowtro, a search engine developed by McMahon and launched about a month ago. The search engine is designed to provide links to academic journals in order to ease the research process and the discovery of credible sources in academics.
McMahon is the founder and president of Knowtro, Inc. His research areas include creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge management.
