The associate professor of music evaluated over 70 choirs at the April festival in Louisiana
Elon Director of Choral Activities and Associate Professor of Music Stephen A. Futrell recently judged the Louisiana Music Educators Association State Choral Assessment, Southeast Region.
Over 70 elementary, middle and high school choirs performed at the festival held at Central LaFourche High School in Raceland, Louisiana, April 20-22. Futrell has been invited back to present professional development workshops in May for area choral and band directors.
