Coordinator of Library Collections Shannon Tennant was a featured speaker at the ALCTS Affiliate Showcase at the American Library Association’s annual conference on June 25, 2016 in Orlando, Fla.
The Showcase offers librarians who have presented at state or regional meetings the opportunity to share their ideas with a larger national audience. Tennant gave an updated version of her presentation “RDA for the Rest of Us,” which she previously delivered at the Tennessee Library Association conference in April. She gave practical suggestions for ways that librarians at smaller public and academic libraries can adopt new cataloging standards despite limited staff and budgets.
