Teresa LePors, Coordinator of Library Research and Scholarly Services, presented a poster about library liaisons at the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida on June 25, 2016.
LePors’ poster presentation was titled “Anatomy of a Liaison Librarian: Analyzing Liaison Activities Using Faculty Emails.” The poster depicted her analysis of emails received from, and sent to, faculty in her liaison areas over the course of a calendar year. It discussed the research methodology that she used, highlighted study results, and used concept mapping to visualize patterns of interactions.
