Discussion about the evolution of the Syrian refugee crisis since Speak Out for Syria was created at Elon last September.
Speak Out for Syria and the International and Global Studies program present a conversation about the Syrian refugee crisis and how this global political and moral dilemma has changed since Elon examined the issue last September. Panelists will examine the latest attempts to resolve both the Syrian war and the refugee crisis (now in its 5th year), in addition to discussing the role that the United States, Europe, and the global community should play. As well as faculty members on the panel, individuals from the local Syrian refugee community will contribute perspectives and personal experiences.
